Caitlin Shadwell

Caitlin is a South African-trained Physiotherapist who holds a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree. She has experience working in multiple sports settings with athletes and teams, as well as within busy musculoskeletal and orthopaedic private practices.

She has a special interest in sports injuries, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, chronic pain, and movement optimisation. Caitlin takes an evidence-based, individualised approach to treatment, combining hands-on therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and education to help clients recover from injury, improve performance, and build long-term resilience in returning to the activities they love.

Caitlin has completed additional training in Dry Needling (Levels 1 & 2) and uses this in combination with varied treatment techniques.

As a qualified Yoga Instructor, she is passionate about understanding movement and believes in treating the whole person, not just the injury. Her goal is to empower clients to take an active role in their recovery and achieve their health, fitness, and performance goals.

When outside of the clinic, she is training for her next Hyrox race or marathon and is always willing to try push herself to new limits in her sporting endeavors.
